Week 22?

Returning after New York Week-
Just a brief blog to let you know what i've been up to (deadline for blog has already been handed in, but I thought I would continue with it none the less)...

Here are two pages I did in my book over the New York week (obviously more was done) but I wanted to share these as part of my fabric research for this project, this first picture is looking at colours and various types of sporting fabric that could be used for my jumpsuit, and the second image is narrowing down to a colour scheme I like and want to follow in this project. Sporty Green.

After having our New York week off/private study, it was time to get back into the swing of uni. I came back fresh and ready to start making my real jumpsuit, I had already made amendments to my pattern during the week off, so was prepared to start cutting out my pattern in my fabric straight away!
So far I have managed to cut out the whole patter in my fabric, I have sewn the main body and the hood together, so all I have left to do is-
  1. Add ribbing to both the ankles and wrists.
  2. Add the visible zip.
  3. Coverstich the hood- grown on facing.
  4. Make the boob tube for underneath.
All in all there isn't too much that I need to do until my garment is finished, but I still have lots of book work to get on with, and I still need to do my mood boards. I think I could probably finish my jumpsuit before easter, and after that I can just concentrate on my book work and research! Wooo! I'm on track and ahead of schedule for once, im keeping my fingers crossed! Will add more photos soon. ciao!x
