Colour Board

The board above is our groups colour board which Lucy and I created.. This colour board is our colour palette and reference for this project. The project brief stated to "Choose a colour palette of 2 main shades and up to 4 accents that reflects your research and memories". These are the colours that the designers will choose from, what they will choose as their main shades and what will be the accents, and I am sure each designer will have a different opinion. We decided to choose pastels and brights as these colours are predicted for future trends during Spring/Summer 2010-11, and these are more exciting and eye catching in comparison to the Autumn/Winter 2010-11. The Autumn/Winter colours seem a little more subdued and dark, and this is why we decided to bring the S/S colours through to the A/W which is what we are designing for.
We are changing the colour third down, as this is a little too light and doesn't quite fit in as well as we would like, so instead we are choosing a metallic charcoal-grey colour to enhance and compliment the other colours.
